There is a state of desireless unhappiness - that is depression. Hope, ambition and possessive love in relation to the temporary world result in desireful unhappiness. Most human beings remain as commuters between these two forms of misfortune/unhappiness. The neutrality in duality (Bhagavad-Gita http://asitis.com/6/8.html & http://asitis.com/6/9.html & http://asitis.com/14/22-25.html) is desireless happiness (Brahman). And when all love-ability is directed to the goal that we have been searching seen since time immemorial - Gaura-Radha-Krishna - this brings us desireful bliss (which is called *rasa* in sanskrit)
